During Monday’s Committee of the Whole Meeting, Mayor Shawn Pankow presented a certificate to local athlete Calla Badham in recognition of her outstanding achievements in darts.
Calla, who started playing at the age of eight, reached her goal of joining Team Ontario in 2023 and competed in the National Championships in Quebec. She has participated in various legion tournaments, including district and provincial events.
Recently, Calla received a prestigious invite to represent Team Canada, along with a direct invitation from the World Darts Federation to compete on the international stage.
Mayor Pankow congratulated Calla, expressing the pride of the Town of Smiths Falls in her accomplishments. The community celebrates Calla’s dedication and success as she continues to make her mark in the world of darts.
