Keith Kerr will be appointed as Councillor for the Sherbrooke Ward in Tay Valley Township for the remainder of the term Tuesday, October 1st.
Kerr’s filling the spot left vacant by former Councillor Andrew Kendrick, who resigned from council on June 30th due to illness.
Kerr returns to municipal politics after serving as Reeve of Tay Valley for 15 years before losing out to Brian Campbell in 2018.
