The Town of Smiths Falls will hold a community ceremony on September 30th at 5 p.m. to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The event begins at Centennial Park, followed by a walk to Duck Island for the opening of a Healing Circle.
Remarks will be given by Mayor Shawn Pankow and Indigenous speaker Tim Bisaillon.
