Take note: The annual 88.1 myFM Radiothon for local health care takes place Thursday, October 17th from 8am until 6pm.

Healthcare officials, doctors, nurses, patients and volunteers join us all day to help us raise awareness and funds for equipment and programs to give our local health care partners the tools they need to continue their excellent service in our region.

Stuff to do:

Today: The Table Community Food Centre in Perth is offering Community Meals every Wednesday from 4:30 to 6pm at their Gore St. Location. Learn more at www.thetablecfc.org

Today: You’re invited for a thoughtful, respectful and engaging topical discussion with facilitated questions to keep the dialogue going at the Perth Coffee and Meaningful Discussion gatherings held every Wednesday from 12:30 until 1:30 at Coutt’s Coffee on Gore Street.

Tomorrow: The Town of Smiths Falls invites residents to an Open House tomorrow (Thursday) from 5 PM – 7 PM at the Youth Arena. The event will discuss the new 25-year Official Plan. Community input is welcome.

Tomorrow: The Lanark Federation of Agriculture will honor five agricultural leaders at the Lanark Agricultural Hall of Fame ceremony on tomorrow (Thursday) at the Neelin Street Arena in Carleton Place. The event celebrates their contributions to Lanark’s farming community.
