Nothing’s easy about organic farming in Ontario, but father-son duo Gord and Gregor Tennant keep at it eight years later with Perth’s New Leaf Organic Farm.
Gord says they produce between 500- 600 pounds of goods per week, and they sell their produce in all sorts of ways, including three weekly farmers markets when the weather warms up.
There’s no such thing as a typical day on a farm between them, with Gord saying their day-to-day like every Canadian producer depends on the weather and season.
