The Town of Smiths Falls is inviting residents and local stakeholders to a Public Open House on Monday, October 21, 2024, to help shape its 5-year Business Retention and Expansion (BR&E) and Investment Attraction Strategic Plan.
The session will run from 6:00 – 7:30 PM at the Smiths Falls Memorial Community Centre, located at 71 Cornelia St. W.
Consultants will present an overview of the project, followed by an open forum where attendees can ask questions and share ideas.
“This plan is vital to enhancing our economic landscape by attracting investment and fostering a sustainable business environment,” said Mayor Shawn Pankow.
The Town has hired Optimus SBR to develop the strategy, with completion expected in December 2024.
