The CT Scanner at the Almonte General Hospital is officially operational.
The fully funded $3 million project came through over 2,200 donors.
The CT scanner’s 360-degree cross-sectional imaging allows physicians to diagnose a wide range of conditions, including cancer, fractures, and stroke.
It successfully scanned its first patient earlier this month.
