During a recent discussion Carleton Place’s water and sewer budget, Town Director Guy Bourgon provided some details on upcoming preparations for the water treatment plant expansion beginning next year.
One of those tasks will involve a group of mature trees near the current building.
Due to severe cost overruns council voted to remove the expansion plans of both the water and waste-water plants from the budget until further discussions can be held.
