Mississippi Mills Roads and Public Works employee Ben Kipp won the Gloor Memorial Trophy and the “Driver of the Year” title after competing in the annual Association of Ontario Road Supervisors Provincial Safety Truck Roadeo on September 25.
That distinction means Kipp earned the title as best municipal equipment operator in Ontario, a title he won for the first time in 2022.
This year, he scored 347 of a possible 370 points.
