Hockey fans in Smiths Falls are gearing up for Pink the Rink this evening (Friday) at 7:30 p.m. as the Bears face off against the Pembroke Lumber Kings at the Community Centre Arena.
Festivities kick off at 6:00 p.m. with a beer tasting hosted by 4 Degrees Brewing, celebrating the Bears’ 60th anniversary. Fans can vote for their favourite brew in the Upper Hall.
The night features a $1,000 minimum 50/50 draw, free samples of the new Pink Drink, a tattoo bar, and pink treats available at the canteen.
Limited-edition Pink the Rink hoodies will be on sale, with support from Adrenaline Sports. Donations for Breast Cancer Research are welcome throughout the evening.
