Thefts of rental utility trailers in North Grenville and Smiths Falls have led to drug trafficking charges against a resident of Gatineau.
The OPP began investigating after thefts of these trailers in North Grenville on October 21st and 25th, as well as Smiths Falls on the 27th and 28th.
Alongside the SFPS and Gatineau Police, a 43-year-old was arrested on the 29th on Rideau Street in Ottawa, where police also seized nearly 30 grams of fentanyl and 2 grams of crack cocaine.
