The results from the first week of the RCL Automotive Build a Mountain of Food campaign presented by myFM are in, and they’re impressive.
A great first week in Almonte and Carleton Place saw a total of 9,707 lbs. of food collected along with $5,358.60 in cash for the Lanark County Food Bank, the Hunger Stop.
Both totals are up from last year.
The drive continues this week. We’ll be in Lanark Highlands at the Legion from 9 until noon collecting for the Lanark Highlands Food Pantry. There will also be a stop in Perth from 9am until 4pm at Metro, Barnabe’s Independent, Foodsmiths, and Giant Tiger for the Good Food Bank at the Table CFC.
See you there!
