The Town of Perth is reminding residents that curbside leaf collection started this morning.
Residents should place leaves in paper bags, as plastic bags will not be collected.
To ensure pickup, all bags must be set curbside in the morning. Town crews will collect throughout the week, so bags should remain at the curb until collected.
Residents can also drop off leaves at the Perth Landfill during regular operating hours if curbside collection is not preferred.
The annual collection service helps keep streets clear of leaves, reducing risks of flooding and making it easier to maintain local roads.
