A Mississippi Mills Township resident has been seriously injured in an ATV collision near Clayton, Ontario.
Officers with the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the scene on Clayton Road in Mississippi Mills Township, shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2. The ATV had rolled over on the road.
“Members of the Lanark County Paramedic Service conducted life-saving measures at the scene, the rider was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries,” reads an OPP press release. “The victim has been identified as a 70-year-old man from the area.”
The investigation by the Lanark County OPP is continuing, with assistance from an OPP Collision Reconstructionist and members of the Technical Collision Investigation Team.
