
Laurie Corrigan, Director of Education for the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario (CDSBEO), will retire on June 30, 2025.
Her departure concludes a 25-year career in Catholic education, including three and a half years leading the board.
A statement from the board says that Corrigan is known for her commitment to safety, inclusion, and faith-based learning. It adds she advanced student achievement and Catholic identity during her tenure.
The outgoing Director expressed gratitude for the community’s support, saying, “Serving as Director has been a privilege.”
Board Chair Chris Cummings praised Corrigan’s contributions, highlighting her dedication and professionalism. “Her leadership has profoundly impacted our community, leaving a legacy of faith and innovation,” he said.
