Smiths Falls Police responded to a 911 call on December 13, 2024, at 11:38 p.m. about an assault at a local residence. Officers quickly determined that a domestic disturbance had taken place.
A 19-year-old woman from Ottawa was arrested and faces multiple charges, including assault with a weapon, mischief under $5,000, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
The accused was released on an undertaking with conditions and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth at a later date.
