The Rotary Club of Smiths Falls is hosting its Ladies’ Night on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 95, Smiths Falls.
Rotarian Tracey Staples says they hold the night in honour of a member who passed away suddenly in 2019.
This year’s event will feature Chief Jodi Empey, Smiths Falls’ first female police chief, as the keynote speaker.
The evening begins with a happy hour and silent auction with items donated by local businesses from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the keynote speech at 6:30 p.m.
Staples says all money raised goes to a great cause supporting the future.
Tickets are $40 each, with table options available for groups of six to eight. All proceeds will support bursaries for local secondary schools.
