The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) has provided an update for parents after their recent cyber incident.
While Wi-Fi at schools is back up, access is limited to internal systems only. Websites like Google and YouTube are currently unavailable.
Staff regained access to email and UC accounts last week, and the IT team is working to restore student access this week. The My Family Room service remains offline, and parents are asked to report absences or late arrivals by phone.
Students in eLearning courses won’t have final exams or projects for semester one, with grades based on work completed by December 20.
Report cards will now be distributed on February 20, two days later than originally planned.
For ongoing updates, families are encouraged to check the UCDSB cyber incident page.
