President Paul Anderson says the Civitan Club of Perth has been a cornerstone of community support for nearly 60 years. Chartered on June 19, 1965, this volunteer-run group is part of Civitan International, which has been helping communities since 1917.
Anderson says the club’s activities include volunteering at retirement homes, collecting donations for shelters, and building gardens for seniors. Fundraising events support a variety of local causes.
Civitan’s mission, founded by a group of businessmen with a passion for giving back, has grown into a global movement. Anderson says the Perth chapter is proud to continue this legacy, playing an important role in strengthening the community.
Anyone interested in volunteering or learning more is encouraged to get involved.
