President Frank Willison says that for over 70 years, the Perth Lions Club has been making a huge difference in the community, supporting vital causes and helping those in need.
Willison points out that the club has donated over $150,000 to the Great War Memorial Hospital and continues to support the Perth Salvation Army, the Perth Food Bank, and the Children’s Breakfast Program at local schools. They also provide bursaries for high school students and financial aid to struggling families.
The club also helps the visually impaired by purchasing eyeglasses, collecting glasses for third-world countries, and raising funds for CNIB
Willison says, from donating the Millennium Gates in Stewart Park to supporting local sports fields, the Perth Lions are dedicated to their community. Residents are encouraged to join and be part of the impact.
