The Town of Perth is responding to a watermain break on Wilson St. E. between Halton St. and Robinson St.
Staff are onsite working to locate the leak site so that repairs can be conducted. Work is expected to continue into the end of the day.
While this work is underway, the safety of the drinking water remains unaffected.
However, some residents may experience temporary water interruptions as repairs are completed.
Detours are in place to direct vehicles and pedestrians around the work area, with traffic in the area limited to local access only.
Residents are asked to avoid the work area when possible and to plan their routes accordingly.
The Queen Elizabeth School is accessible via Robinson St. and South St. for school drop off and pick up.
On Friday, town staff repaired a watermain break at Sherbrooke Street East and Robinson Street.
