The 45th Annual Tim Hortons Bowl for Kids’ Sake is happening tonight (February 20th) in Carleton Place and on Saturday (February 22nd) in Smiths Falls and Perth.
The event aims to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Lanark County, supporting their crucial mentoring programs for local youth.
BBBS Executive Director Jennifer Miller says the event is their biggest fundraiser of the year.
Money raised helps connect young people with mentors, improving their confidence, resilience, and school performance.
The cost to create a new match is $1,500, making each dollar raised incredibly impactful.
Teams are encouraged to aim for $1,500 to help make a lasting difference.
