Lynn Laming-Kerr, owner of Kitley Grocery & Service Centre in Toledo, has been selected to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s International Women’s Day celebration.
For over 36 years, her store has been a vital part of Elizabethtown-Kitley, providing fuel, food, lottery tickets, and more. In 2021, it became an LCBO Liquor Convenience Outlet, long before the expansion of retail liquor sales.
Laming-Kerr has been recognized for her leadership in small business, balancing community support with economic success. She has been an active Legion member for 25 years and continues to foster connections within the township.
The award will be presented March 6 at the Brockville Memorial Civic Centre during the International Women’s Day celebration.
The event includes guest speakers, an expert panel, and a buffet dinner.
