Officers conducted the traffic stop shortly after 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 23. Following an investigation, police arrested the driver and transported them to the Perth detachment for further testing.
Cory Read, 44, of South Elmsley Township, has been charged with operation while impaired (80 plus), operation while prohibited, and driving under suspension under the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on March 24.
