There were a pair of local big lottery winners recently.
Almonte resident Gerry Visser won $1 million in the Gold Ball Draw on January 15th. Visser’s played the same numbers for four decades, he purchased the ticket online.
Cathy Cole of Lanark also won big. She took home $500,000 on an instant plinko ticket. She said she and her husband are putting that money towards building their dream home.
