A head-on collision on Highway-7, just east of Innisville, has left one person dead.
Officers with Lanark OPP, Drummond/North Elmsley/Tay Valley Fire Rescue and Lanark County Paramedics were called to the scene near White Road, shortly after 5:00 a.m. Wednesday.
A westbound SUV and an eastbound tractor trailer had collided in the eastbound lane. A 54-year-old man from Ottawa was pronounced deceased at the scene.
He had been alone in the car. The driver of the transport was not seriously injured.
Highway 7 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
