The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following an intimate partner violence investigation.
Officers responded to a hotel in Perth at approximately 3:30 a.m. on March 9, 2025, leading to the arrest of a 21-year-old man from Ottawa.
The accused has been charged with forcible confinement and resisting a peace officer.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on March 31, 2025.
