It’s a 4.4% proposed tax increase in the Lanark Highlands 2025 budget.
That would result in the average taxpayer chipping in $74.39 more for the year.
A big ticket item is the $2.5 million Sheridan Rapids Bridge reconstruction, which is a large reason why the town’s capital budget is 73% higher this year.
A budget workshop is set for March 28th for council and staff to iron out what they’d like to see included or removed in the final budget.
