Curtis Jordan has resigned as an Upper Canada District School Board trustee.
The Ward 9 trustee (Stormont/Glengarry) submitted his letter of resignation to the board and it was accepted following an in-camera session on Thursday, March 20.
The board then voted to fill the vacant seat through an appointment process, which must be completed within 90 days.
Jordan’s tenure included some controversy. He was investigated twice in 2023 for alleged Code of Conduct violations.
The board originally suspended Jordan from attending in-person meetings for six months before later lifting those sanctions, and clearing him following a second investigation.
