The Upper Canada District School Board is looking to fill a vacant trustee position left by Curtis Jordan’s resignation.
Jordan, who was elected in Stormont-Glengarry in 2022, stepped down, and the Board of Trustees voted on March 20, 2025, to proceed with an appointment process.
Eligible candidates from the Stormont-Glengarry area can apply until 4:00 p.m. on April 28, 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in public during the Board meeting on May 14th.
The successful candidate will be sworn in at the same meeting and will serve until November 14, 2026.
The appointment must be made within 90 days, as per the Education Act.
