
Lanark County OPP has charged three people after two break-ins at a business on Narrows Lock Road in Tay Valley Township.
Officers responded to a break-in on March 24 at 3:20 a.m., finding property damage. A search was conducted, but no suspects were found. The next night, on March 25, police were called again around 3:30 a.m. after three masked individuals were spotted on the property.
The OPP Canine Unit, Emergency Response Team, and Community Street Crime Unit responded, leading to three arrests.
Scott Barrett, 39, of Kingston, Chantelle Johnston, 40, of Loyalist Township, and Brandon Milberry, 42, of Smiths Falls, are charged with break and enter, mischief under $5,000, and possession of stolen property.
The accused were released and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on April 7.
