The spring melt has uncovered a number of “care packages” left by dogs in Smiths Falls, leading the town to issue a friendly reminder to residents.
In a recent Facebook post, the town encouraged pet owners to clean up after their dogs, noting the importance of keeping public spaces clean and safe for everyone. “Let’s all work together to keep our beautiful community clean and safe for everyone,” the post read.
The reminder applies to all municipalities in the 88.1 myFM listening area, urging residents to continue picking up after their pets while enjoying local parks and streets.
The town thanked everyone for helping to maintain a clean environment, making it more enjoyable for all.
