The federal Liberals now lead the Conservatives by 11 points, according to a new Nanos Research poll for CTV News released April 4.
Support for the Liberals sits at 46 per cent, while the Conservatives trail at 35 per cent. The New Democrats hold 9 per cent, followed by the Bloc Québécois at 5 per cent. The Green Party has 3 per cent support, and the People’s Party is at 1 per cent.
Mark Carney is the preferred choice for prime minister among Canadians, holding a 22-point lead over Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre.
Pollster Nik Nanos says the Liberal lead has grown steadily since daily tracking began. The poll is based on a three-day rolling sample ending April 4.
