Residents of Perth and area are invited to a free voter information session on Wednesday, April 23 at 6 p.m. hosted by The Table Community Food Centre.
The session takes place after the regular Community Meal and is open to everyone who wants to learn more about voting in the upcoming federal election.
Attendees can check if they are registered to vote, get help registering, and learn where to vote.
The event will also cover party platforms and local candidates, and give residents a chance to ask questions in the group and join a community discussion. The candidates will not be in attendance.
Organizers say the evening is a safe, welcoming space to become a more confident voter. Snacks will be available.
