88.1 myFM wrapped up the candidate highlights Friday for the vacant Ward 3 (South Crosby) seat in Rideau Lakes Township.
It was once held by Joan Delaney, who resigned earlier this year citing a combative culture of the current council as the reason why.
The remaining councillors voted to hold a by-election rather than appointing an individual, which is within their authority.
Voting opens for South Crosby residents June 21 and lasts until June 26th.
Here are the four candidates hoping to make a difference, by order of which they put their name forth. Click the respective links to learn about their platforms.
1. Jordan De Long hopes to bring improvements to the township that’ll benefit youth and young families.
2. After nearly 19 years on staff, Rob Hennessy seeks the council seat.
3. An active volunteer, Dustin Bulloch wants to earn your vote as the next councillor.
4. Jonathan Carr feels his youth will provide a prospective missing among council.
