
You're asked to call 9-1-1 and not to approach if you see this man near young children
The Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police is warning the public about an individual in the Carleton Place area, considered to be a public safety risk.
On Friday, February 14, 2025, Lanark County OPP was made aware of an individual making threats toward children. While no specific children were targeted, the investigation determined that threats were directed toward children, aged two and three, across Lanark County.
24-year-old Isaac Sebastien Dion was charged the following day with accessing child pornography, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and make, print, publish or posses child pornography for the purpose of publication.
He was remanded into custody following a bail hearing.
On Wednesday, May 21, Dion was released from custody following an appearance before the Superior Court of Justice in Perth.
Dion is White, 5’6, with a medium build and brown hair and eyes.
If you see this individual near any locations where young children are present, call 9-1-1 immediately. Do not attempt to approach or intervene on your own.
