Lanark County OPP charged a 25-year-old man following an intimate partner violence investigation early Sunday, May 18, 2025.
Officers responded just before 3:45 a.m. in Mississippi Mills Township. The man was arrested and charged with two counts of assault causing bodily harm, four counts of assault, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and careless storage of a firearm.
The accused remains held for bail and is set to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on May 20, 2025.
To protect the victim, the accused’s name has not been released.
