The clouds parted just long enough to let the hikers take streets in this year’s 2nd Annual Hike for Hospice in Perth on Sunday, May 25th. Organizer Lynne Underhill was wowed by the numbers and super weather at the start of the 1.5K or 5.0K route through the town.
A good hiker contingent and early donations were reasons for optimism for reaching the total campaign target as Underhill notes.
The Hospice Hub’s mission to ensure that our community has access to hospice care wherever they call home drive’s the group’s efforts, which Underhill says are greatly needed.
