Work on the 5 Arch Bridge in Pakenham is set to begin in July.
Lanark County Public Works Director Sean Derouin provided a status update.
The bridge was first built in 1901 and underwent major renovations in 1984.
It’ll be two years of work, and Derouin explained how it’ll be divided up.
The work will involve bridge closures, but Derouin said they’ll try to minimize the impact as much as possible.
Construction for this summer is expected to run July 15th to October 30th with detours and live closure updates on digital display boards in place.
