Lanark County is set to approve a $1.83 million project for electrical upgrades at Lanark Lodge.
Director of Long-Term Care Shawna Stone says their existing generator has run its course.
Stone says there’ll be room to grow on the grid should they need to.
Over two years, staff prices the project at over $2.8 million, factoring in engineering and construction costs.
County Councillor Bill King expressed concerns around the presentation.
