Neighbourhood Climate Concierge Program; Comfort in the Process and in the Results
Back for a second year, thanks to its overwhelming success, the Neighbourhood Climate Concierge Program continues to connect homeowners with solutions to lower carbon footprints and savings on energy costs. Climate Network Lanark’s project coordinator Sadie Brule explains what it is.
The program expands to Lanark Highlands this year and continues to be offered in Almonte and Perth with plans to include Carleton Place and Smiths Falls as well as virtual sessions in the future. As there are many options for home retrofits, available grants, and contractors, Sadie notes sufficient knowledge can’t be obtained and understood in a short period of time.
The Concierge Program guides homeowners through the entire process and brings neighbours together to share knowledge and experiences. This brings one of the most important benefits according to Sadie.
You can learn more and sign up for future sessions by going to climatenetworklanark.ca and clicking on the initiatives tab.
