Smiths Falls is preparing to send two delegations requests for the Association of Municipalities of Ontario conference this August.
Town officials are making a renewed push for funding to support their water and wastewater infrastructure project, following two previous unsuccessful applications.
Staff believe that meeting face-to-face with provincial representatives could strengthen their case by underscoring the urgency and importance of the project.
The will also be seeking support from the province for the replacement of the Youth Arena, which comes at an expected price tag of $50 million.
