Conservative Government House Leader Steve Clark says the province isn’t standing idle after steel tariffs were hiked by 50% by President Donald Trump.
Clark says Premier Ford won’t back down.
The MPP for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes they have been working around the clock to help support the provincial economy since early April.
Clark says the province will continue to work with the other provinces on internal trade, but that doesn’t mean they won’t take any pressure off at the national level.
Clark closed by saying, there’s lots to take place over the course of the summer when it comes to Donald Trump.
