More than 90 staff members with the Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) were celebrated yesterday during the annual Long Service Awards Ceremony at the Carleton Place Canoe Club.
Employees from Almonte General Hospital, Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital, Fairview Manor, and Lanark County Paramedic Service were recognized for service milestones ranging from 5 to 40 years.
The longest-serving staff included Lisa McPhail, Cheri Hickey, and Linda Melbrew, each marking 40 years at Almonte General Hospital.
Sheila Lefebvre was honoured for 35 years at Fairview Manor, while several others were recognized for three decades of service.
MRHA President and CEO Brad Harrington praised the dedication, saying each year of service reflects meaningful moments that shape patient care and community connection.
The ceremony featured remarks from leadership and board members, along with heartfelt tributes from department heads. The event highlighted MRHA’s ongoing commitment to its staff and community.
