It’s day two of the heat wave. Groups and Towns have multiple places to cool off if you need one.
ConnectWell Community Health’s offering space at their offices in Lanark from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. at 207 Roberston Drive, and 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Carleton Place at 30 Bennet St.
The Lanark Highlands Municipal Office at 75 George Street is open as well from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as is the on-site library, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Perth says the library (30 Herroit St.) is open from 9-5, the pool (3 Sunset Blvd) 9:30-9p.m. , the splash pad at Conlon Farm and local beaches are good options.
The Royal Canadian Legion in Smiths Falls is also open at 7 Main St. East.
