
A 49-year-old man is facing multiple charges after a road rage complaint in Carleton Place led to an intimate partner violence investigation by Lanark County OPP.
Officers responded to the incident on Sunday, June 15, 2025. After locating those involved, police arrested the man and laid several serious charges, including assault with a weapon, assault, uttering threats, criminal harassment, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, July 16th.
To protect the identity of the victim, police will not release the name of the accused.
