The Perth Blue Wings are reshaping their roster ahead of next season.
They’ve made three trades this week following the conclusion of their prospect camp, which also brought a slew of signings.
In the biggest deal of the trio, they shipped out ’04 forward Connor Janveau and ’05 defenceman John Stewart to the Ottawa West Golden Knights in exchange for ’05 forward Jacob Perreault and a third and fourth round draft pick in 2026.
Perreault recorded 14 goals across 46 games for Ottawa West last season, his second with the club. He had the third most points on the team with 49.
Janveau posted 10 goals and 34 points in 39 games for Perth, while Stewart contributed 18 assists and was a steady presence on the blue line.
Perth also traded ’07 forward Hayden Latour to Carleton Place for ’06 goalie Alex Beaulne.
Beaulne went 8-8-2 with a pair of shutouts with a 3.91 GAA and 0.883 sv% last season with the Jr. Canadians.
Latour posted six points and 29 PIM across 44 games in his rookie campaign for Perth.
In a prospect-centred trade, the Blue Wings also acquired affiliate ’08 forward Arjun Uppal from the Athens Aeros and a 2025 draft pick in exchange for affiliate ’08 defenceman Lucas Adamson and a 2025 draft pick.
The Blue Wings have missed the EOJHL playoffs in consecutive seasons since hoisting the Barkley Cup in 2023.
