Recycling pickup in the Town of Perth will be delayed by one day this week, due to the Canada Day holiday. Miller Waste, the town’s recycling contractor, will not collect materials on Tuesday as originally scheduled.
Instead, homes in the North Zone will have their recycling picked up on Wednesday, July 2. South Zone residents will be serviced on Thursday, July 3. All bins must be at the curb by 7 a.m. on the new pickup day.
The Town of Perth is spreading the word through social media and its website and has asked local radio stations to help share the update.
Organics collection will not be affected. The Town reminds residents that green bin pickup now happens every Tuesday for both the North and South Zones, including this week.
