A man in crisis jumped twice from the Beckwith Street bridge in Smiths Falls.
Police say the Mobile Crisis Response Team alongside Smiths Falls Fire, Lanark County Paramedics and Lanark OPP arrived to assist June 15th and learned the man had jumped before they got there.
He jumped for a second time and police say he remained uncooperative with first responders until a crisis nurse was able to convince him to come out of the water.
He was taken to hospital for assessment.
