Smiths Falls is continuing towards connecting its existing trails over the next five years.

Connecting the trails is a lot of work with multiple variables, but would emphasize how pedestrian friendly the town already is, says Clark.
The plan would also include various improvements to the towns trails over a five year period for about $1.285 million with plans to apply for federal and provincial grants.
